$45k - $55k Position Summary Our Client Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Buyer / Supply Chain Coordinator to support purchasing, inventory management, vendor communications, and supply chain operations. This role works closely with production, vendors, and internal departments to ensure materials are available when needed and orders move efficiently through the supply chain.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, inventory control, purchasing support, customer service, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination who is looking to grow their career in procurement. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing experience Purchasing or procurement experience Inventory management experience APICS, supply chain coursework, or related training Experience coordinating vendors and suppliers Qualifications 1+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, production planning, customer service, or related fields Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience using ERP, MRP, or inventory management software is preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is naturally organized, follows through on commitments, communicates well with vendors and coworkers, and enjoys solving problems. We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, customer service, production planning, and purchasing support. Essential Responsibilities Assist with purchasing raw materials, components, and production supplies Create and maintain purchase orders Track open orders and communicate delivery updates to internal teams Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and shipment status Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning Support production scheduling by ensuring material availability Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records within ERP systems Research alternative suppliers and products when needed Help resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, and vendor issues Analyze purchasing data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Work cross-functionally with production, warehouse, quality, and accounting teams This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in purchasing and supply chain management while gaining exposure to all aspects of manufacturing operations.
