Job Description

Summary of Position:
The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and tracking the flow of materials, supplies, and products within the company or on a project site. This position ensures that materials are received, stored, and distributed efficiently and that inventory levels are maintained to meet production or operational needs. This position may have a team of Inventory Specialists that report to them. Manage the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses; maintain accurate inventory records Track inbound and outbound shipments, verifying packaging and accompanying documents Laise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials Prepare and process purchase orders Conduct and coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits Address and resolve issues related to damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouses or storage areas Maintain knowledge of the material and tools used for project Coordinate and direct the work of any Inventory Specialists onsite Recommend and create any process improvements for streamlining the inventory processes Safety training as required by position Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed Other duties as assigned
Essential Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs Must be able to work in all weather conditions Understanding of materials used in construction or specific project Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Travel required
Preferred Skills:
Construction industry experience Prior inventory or material management experience
