Job Description

About the Role The Logistics Associate is responsible for executing day-to-day logistics operations including receiving, inventory management, packaging, labeling, and shipping of medical device products in a regulated environment. This role ensures accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and the Quality Management System (QMS). The position begins with foundational logistics responsibilities (Level I) and offers growth into more advanced logistics functions (Level II), including process improvement, ERP proficiency, and operational ownership across material flow and warehouse efficiency. transactions to support inventory and shipping functions Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system alignment Ensure timely delivery of products to customers Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) Complete required documentation including logs, batch records, and reports Support material flow throughout the warehouse (receipt to outbound) Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform basic equipment operation and preventative maintenance Assist with sample processing (release, in-process, validation) Collaborate cross-functionally to meet operational objectives Meet or exceed daily productivity and output metrics Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities Maintain quality records in compliance with QMS requirements Assist in training new team members as needed Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment Basic knowledge of ERP systems and data entry (Epicor preferred) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions (SOPs/SWIs) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math skills and documentation proficiency Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency Effective communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to maintain organization and manage time effectively Physical ability to perform warehouse duties (dexterity, lifting, standing) Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment Intermediate proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor transactions and inventory management) Knowledge of logistics best practices (receiving, material flow, picking, outbound shipping) Experience with cycle counting and inventory control processes Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Experience identifying and implementing process improvements Familiarity with lean principles and operational efficiency concepts Ability to train or mentor junior team members Strong customer focus (internal and external stakeholders) Skills Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy in execution and documentation Analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Adaptability in a fast-paced, regulated environment Safety awareness and compliance mindset Continuous improvement mindset Strong work ethic and accountability Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Open to being flexible for shifting the start-end time to later in the day such as Monday-Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm, once fully trained. Working hours include two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid break.
