Job Description

Drug Plastics Corporate Office is looking for you to join our team! As a Logistics Coordinator, you ensure timely preparation and movement for all domestics, internation, intercompany, and vendor shipments! This is a Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm, hourly position.

Some Responsibilities Include:
Ensure timely preparation and movement for all domestic, international, intercompany, and vendor shipments Keep up-to-date of all changes to transportation/logistics regulations and documentation requirements Maintain departmental records on critical items Gather pertinent external data Communicating with internal customers and freight/transportation suppliers Work closely with Drug Plastics Customer Service Department, Plants' Shipping Departments, Customer's Freight Forwarder, Carriers, and 3PL's Process freight claims (investigation through resolution)
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or chain supply (emphasis in Logistics preferred) Minimum of 5 years experience in domestic and internation transportation and logistics Familiarity with laws and regulations as they apply to logistics Proficiency in PC Software including but not limited to: Microsoft Suite, experience in ERP systems,
Databases, UPS and Carrier Portal Required Skills:
Ability to convince others by presenting logical arguments, describing benefits, develop strategies to overcome resistance in order to gain support and commitment from others Ability to clearly convey timely and high-quality information Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to the needs of both internal and external customers Ability to adopt a structured and integrated approach to work, prioritizing, needs and creating comprehensive, realistic and effective plans in order to meet business requirements Drug Plastics & Glass Company Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
