Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary Oversees logistics operations across the network, balancing inbound and outbound flows, carrier and freight forwarder management, and freight cost efficiency. Provides leadership and coordination to ensure timely, cost‑effective movement of goods. Works closely with shipping coordinators to address escalated carrier-related issues. Candidate should have knowledge of SAP 4HANA, as well as export compliance & government licensing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics activities across multiple plants/warehouses, ensuring consistency and efficiency
• Identify new partners, negotiate rates, and maintain contracts; monitor performance and resolve escalations with carriers and freight forwarders
• Coordinate with freight carriers, 3PLs, Plant and warehouse shipping teams to resolve issues and optimize service
• Define rules and timing for delivery creation in SAP; oversee accuracy and coordinate execution with Shipping Coordinators
• Track and report freight spend, identify savings opportunities, and optimize transport modes
• Maintain carrier and freight forwarder scorecards (on‑time delivery, claims, responsiveness, compliance)
• Align logistics with Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Distribution teams
• Address escalated carrier-related issues from Shipping Coordinators
• Consolidate logistics KPIs (OTIF, freight cost, carrier performance) for senior management
• Assist with inbound raw material receipts and stock transfers if required In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
