Job Description

Pharmacy Technician / Medication Distribution Support Job Responsibilities Medication Delivery Perform batch and off-batch production run delivery Perform batch production run delivery with medication cassettes Complete Meds-to-Beds delivery from retail pharmacy Medication Expiration Date Inspection Conduct medication expiration date inspections in: Pharmacy Department Nursing Units Ambulatory Care Sites Receiver / Medication Replenishment Receive purchased medications from manufacturers and wholesalers Replenish medications and supplies to: Pharmacy medication storage shelves Pyxis MedStation ES Surgical centers Retrieve medications from storage locations during pharmaceutical recalls Investigate and correct Pyxis MedStation ES malfunctions Cleaning Clean medication storage shelves, bins, refrigerators, and Pyxis MedStations Retail Pharmacy Receiver duties Register/Cashier responsibilities Patient triage Answer phone calls Required Skills Experience in pharmacy logistics, medication distribution, or supply chain support Responsible for timely delivery and transport of medications within the hospital Must have an active PA License Interview Process 1 round onsite panel interview Shift Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30
PM Education Required:
High school diploma or
GED Preferred:
None Certifications & Licensure Required:
Pharmacy Technicians are required to be licensed through the Pennsylvania State Board before 6/28
Preferred:
None Language Requirement English (Speak, Read, Write)
Skills & Experience Required:
Basic computer skills including use of Windows operating system
Preferred:
One (1) year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience
