Job Summary The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various Supply Chain projects associate with our core mission. Responsibilities Will undertake, initially, a range of administrative and support tasks for the Large Caliber Ammunition Supply Chain department Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Build productive internal/external working relationships Must be comfortable working autonomously and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines Recommend process improvements identified during the internship May also support the documentation and updates of procedures or work instructions Support team and follow
ITAR, FAR, DFAR, CPSR
process with the following: Purchase order management Track open reqs to ensure timely PO transition Run supplier monthly reports Run monthly cost savings reports Run monthly reports as required Maintain Supplier forecasts
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Required education and experience: Must be currently enrolled in related Business courses or be within 6 months of graduation; No prior experience needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills. Attentiveness. Ability to understand and follow directions.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
