ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Improve forecast accuracy and reduce stockouts across assigned categories. Optimize inventory levels and distribution efficiency across stores and DCs. Enhance promotional execution and seasonal readiness. Strengthen cross-functional alignment within S&OP processes. Develop and maintain demand forecasts to improve accuracy and support revenue growth. Analyze promotional, seasonal, and holiday demand patterns to drive inventory decisions Lead forecasting for ad events and quantify expected uplift and variance. Monitor forecast performance and implement continuous improvements. Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Planning to align forecasts with S&OP cycles. Design and execute distribution strategies that improve in-stock levels and DC efficiency. Support marketing programs by forecasting redemption-driven demand Drive best practices in demand planning, reporting, and data integrity. Supervisory Responsibilities This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities. To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) Business, or related field, plus three (3) years' experience in a support or customer service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Cognira, Biceps, Retalix HQ, Itasca (CGO), preferred but not required. Aptitude in Microsoft Excel required. Weis Markets is an
