Job Summary / Brief River Bend Agricultural Services LLC, a division of the Novus Ag network, is seeking an analytical and highly proactive Ag-Chemical Supply Chain Tracker to safeguard our regional inventory pipelines. This position is open to qualified candidates nationwide, and full relocation assistance will be provided to the local facility area if required. Operating on a hybrid schedule, you will monitor domestic freight tracking systems and oversee transit metrics for essential seasonal chemical and fertilizer shipments. You will build strong relationships by delivering real-time transit visibility, identifying transport disruptions early, and updating regional hub managers to ensure seamless supply continuity and maximize retail farm productivity.
Freight Tracking:
Monitor and record the real-time movement of domestic chemical, crop nutrition, and bulk fertilizer shipments across truck and rail networks.
Inventory Monitoring:
Maintain highly accurate digital tracking logs detailing inbound supply volumes against physical warehouse space across our regional hub locations.
Disruption Management:
Identify terminal delays, freight carrier backups, or routing issues early, quickly escalating transport bottlenecks to purchasing and logistics managers.
Metric Reporting:
Compile weekly transit performance summaries, carrier arrival logs, and supply pipeline status updates for regional management evaluation.
Operational Syncing:
Coordinate closely with facility management and warehouse personnel to guarantee cohesive office support and strict documentation compliance. Applicant Requirements High school diploma or equivalent certificate required; previous freight tracking, supply chain administrative support, or logistics coordination experience is preferred. Proven track record in tracking dynamic assets, monitoring inventory movements, or coordinating carrier logistics. Strong computer skills with cloud file sharing, team communication tools, transit tracking databases, and spreadsheet management. Willingness to relocate to the physical facility hub environment, utilizing company-provided relocation assistance. Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits Competitive annual salary of $45,000 - $55,000 paired with a comprehensive nationwide relocation assistance package. Company-provided workplace computer, software access, and modern office tools. Comprehensive healthcare options, matching 401(k) program, and paid time off (PTO).
