JOB SUMMARY
Join our dynamic logistics team as an Air Export Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end process of air freight shipments for international clients. This energetic position requires a proactive approach to coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. As an integral part of our supply chain management operations, you will leverage your expertise in transportation management systems and logistics sales to streamline export processes and foster strong client relationships. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with and manage a variety of stakeholders including clients, airlines, truckers and overseas vendors as necessary Prepare necessary export documents and ensure all export clearance work is complete Generate and close AWB timely to meet gateway and airline cutoffs Manage the handling of expedited, out of gauge and hazardous freight Track and trace shipments from origin location to final destination as well as communicate/advise clients on shipment status Ensure all shipment files contain all necessary documents and that shipment archives are updated and complete Lead all client billings, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the files as well as compliance with all management requirements Lead rate negotiations with carriers Complete and provide clients with requested rates in a timely manner
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years related experience in shipping/logistics Very detail-oriented and strong capacity to multi-task effectively Strong administrative and organization skills required in order to manage and balance the positions demands Ability to adjust to changing needs within the organization and flexibility to change priorities as needed while meeting all deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, internally and externally Must be familiar with Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Able to lift 50 pounds.
Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
