Job Description

WAM Logistics is searching for an intelligent, hard working individual to add their amazing skills and personality to our fast paced, team focused environment. The ideal candidate is someone who is a quick learner, has strong attention to detail and enjoys a good laugh. Must work well in a team setting and excel at problem solving. Some experience is a plus but certainly not required. As a Customer Experience Specialist you will focus on supporting our sales team by managing customer requests and day to day operations within our LTL, truckload and expedited services. Tasks include, tracking, quoting, managing customer shipments, order entry, carrier procurement, and other daily operational requests.
Minimum Requirements:
Great communication skills, enjoys interacting with new people daily. Great problem solving skills, given the end goal is able to identify multiple ways to achieve it. Must have experience with regular computer use, understand basic utilities like email, instant messaging and Microsoft Office tools. Prior experience in an office setting preferred. Competitive personality, prefers a challenge. Strong sense of empathy, understands the value in helping others. HAS FUN.
Job Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers and carriers to ensure on time pickup and delivery. Perform detailed and organized data entry. Proactively identify and problem solve issues and relay to appropriate team members. Source and procure carrier services to ensure timely delivery of customer freight. Ability to build and promote strong customer and carrier relationships. MUST be skilled at working with speed and efficiency.
