Job Title:
Engineering Project Coordinator Job Description As an Engineering Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing design change tracking, material tracking, and build readiness coordination. You will play a critical role in ensuring that engineering builds are effectively coordinated for consumer electronics. Responsibilities Monitor and track design releases for boards and flexes, including Ok2Fab approvals and RTV (Release to Vendor). Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to closure. Maintain accurate revision tracking of parts/materials and tooling schedules to align with system build timelines. Collect and update material data in DRP systems during engineering development phases. Release material demand to vendors and ensure Clear-to-Build (CTB) status aligns with micro-schedules. Create and maintain System BOMs in databases throughout design iterations. Translate build rules into system configurations and maintain the build matrix. Liaise with upstream module/component vendors and contract manufacturers (CMs) to track schedules and mitigate material risks. Coordinate materials and configurations for Design of Experiments (DOEs). Provide logistics support for shipments between U.S. and overseas factories and manage sample inventory. Essential Skills Experience coordinating engineering builds for consumer electronics. Familiarity with BOM compilation, material lists, and configuration management. Understanding of component interdependencies and material readiness. Proficiency in spreadsheets and internal tracking tools. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Configuration Management. Knowledge in NPI (New Product Introduction). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
