Duties Assist with inventory management, stock control, and warehouse distribution activities to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient storage solutions Support procurement processes by sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing purchase orders using ERP systems like SAP or AS400 Coordinate transportation planning and freight logistics to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs Monitor shipping & receiving operations, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards Collect and analyze data related to supply chain performance using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and other data analysis tools to identify process improvements Manage vendor relationships through supplier management practices, ensuring timely order fulfillment and quality standards are met Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inventory discrepancies to implement effective corrective actions Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including demand planning, category management, and procurement strategies Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms (like SAP or AS400), and inventory control tools Excellent data collection, analysis skills, with experience in Excel data analysis, SQL queries, and Tableau dashboards for supply chain analytics Hands-on experience with warehouse experience, materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), manual handling techniques, and warehouse operations Familiarity with shipping logistics including freight forwarding (NVOCC), 3PL providers, shipping & receiving procedures, and trade compliance regulations Mechanical knowledge relevant to materials handling equipment and warehouse machinery Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and sourcing activities along with category management expertise Ability to practice process improvement methodologies such as root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-moving environment Embark on a rewarding career where your logistical expertise drives operational excellence!
