Logistics Associate - Novi, MI

This is a hybrid role supporting the logistics team with traffic coordination and carrier updates. A background in transportation, logistics, or carrier management is preferred. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required. Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including shipment planning, load consolidation, and the import/export process. Provide customer support for Lineage Transportation Team. SUMMARY Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including clerical work, order entry, planning appointments, track and trace, document scanning, and assisting Logistics Specialists in support of the overall import/export process.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support basic customer needs by answering phones, managing email volume, and becoming familiar with customer accounts Utilize transportation software to track and trace vessel and terminal schedules and generate reports for visibility Collaborate with Logistics Specialists and warehouse staff to achieve daily goals Support Logistics Specialists with planning appointments and coordinating orders Assist with billing every 1-3 days and ensure rates are accurate Research for both customer and driver documentation File and scan driver documentation Perform basic audits to review vendor invoices to minimize discrepancies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) High School Diploma or Equivalent No prior experience is required; previous experience in a shipping or transportation coordination environment experience or relevant certification is advantageous but not necessary Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Why Lineage?
