Responsibilities:
The Logistics Operations Engineer candidate provides logistics operations support, specifically in asset management, inventory control, property transfer, and property disposal. Will also support development of a Property Management Plan and managing Government property for MID, maintaining property inventory and property accountability control for property including: Operating Mission Integration Directorate (MID) warehouse facilities. Provide inventory control management, including reconciliation of inventory against Mission Integration Directorate (MID) records, periodic inventory sampling, and annual inventory of deployed assets and designated property. Document temporary or permanent transfer of accountability or responsibility for Government property and initiate procedures to retrieve issued and deployed assets following the expiration of the required use date. Frequent review of policies and procedures. Creation and/or implementation of an Asset Management Standard Operating Procedure. Consistent review and execution of the Standard Operating Procedure. Maintain acquisition documentation and disposition records for all accountable, capitalized, or designated property. Dispose of Government property according to government guidance and established NRO property turn-in procedures. Creates or complies with Warehouse Operations Standard Operating Procedure. Applying background knowledge of commercial logistics management tools. Working in a warehouse environment and ability to lift 50 pounds. Using efficient and cost-effective methods for materiel management. Shipping and receiving MID and IC customer equipment. Utilizing existing SOPs and other customer specific procedures. Using the customers Transportation Management Center's (TMC) services. Utilizing skills and experience with materiel handling equipment. Coordinating and ensuring personnel are trained in warehouse and environment safety and OSHA requirements. Operating Government provided cargo vans for local delivery. Conducting deliveries in accordance with the customer's Security and Management Services & Operations Facility Duty Officer rules. Maintaining close working relationships with the TMC and loading dock personnel.
Qualifications:
Required:
Requires 5 to 7 years (or equivalent) with BS or 3 to 5 years with MS or 0 to 2 years with a PhD Must possess and be able to maintain TS/SCI clearance with Poly 5+ years of experience with material handling/management and facilities operation Knowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements Experience with IC customer property management standards from inventory though disposal Experience with IC customer asset management and equipment handling procedures
Equal Pay Act:
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
