We're seeking a detail-oriented Materials Planner to support material coordination, inventory management, and production scheduling activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll work closely with engineering, production control, program management, and supply chain teams to ensure timely movement of materials and smooth production operations.

What You'll Do:
Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement throughout the production cycle Support shipments for new products by coordinating engineering-owned material to designated shipping locations Manage Project Services Fremont mailbox communications and requests Coordinate reservations for material staged in inventory locations Maintain strong working relationships with Program/Product Management, Engineering, Production Control, and Supply Chain teams Participate in cross-functional meetings to address material delivery and build schedule issues Coordinate material transfers from engineering into unrestricted inventory locations or labs Create and maintain procurement and supply chain data including bills of material and inventory records Generate ad hoc reports and support operational reporting needs Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field preferred 3+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, supply chain, or production coordination 3+ years of experience using SAP transactions including MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22, and MB23 3+ years of experience working with inventory movement, material transfers, and bills of material (BOMs)
What Sets You Apart:
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and working within Microsoft Office Suite Experience navigating SharePoint and enterprise inventory management systems Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities in fast-paced operational environments Project management experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments Ability to read and interpret multi-level product BOMs Ability to write clear inventory movement instructions for warehouses, production teams, and engineering groups
