American Recycling is hiring an Operations Manager to help drive our next phase of growth. Since 2001, ARS has been a trusted best-in-class provider of recovered materials procurement, marketing, and supply solutions for tissue mills, paper manufacturers, and material recovery facilities across the US. We also offer universal waste , batterie and document destruction services. If you understand fiber grades, mill specifications, commodity markets, logistics, and building strong supplier/client partnerships — we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do:

Oversee day-to-day operations, including procurement of recovered paper, plastics, and other recyclables Manage logistics, inventory, and supply chain coordination to ensure reliable delivery to mills and customers Support sales and marketing efforts for recycled fiber and related services Contribute to equipment project management (balers, conveyors, shredding systems, etc.) from design through installation and financing Handle office operations, vendor relationships, and process improvements in a small, collaborative team environment Monitor market trends, pricing, and quality standards to maximize value and sustainability impact

What You Bring:

5-10+ years of hands-on experience in recycled materials, pulp & paper, waste/recycling operations, or commodity procurement Deep knowledge of recovered fiber markets, grades, and mill requirements (tissue mill supply experience is a strong plus) Proven ability to manage logistics, supplier networks, and B2B client relationships Strong organizational and leadership skills — comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing company Based in or willing to work in the Atlanta/Smyrna, GA area (hybrid flexibility possible) Why Join ARS?
