Production Planner - Apparel

Associate Production Planner, Lingerie & Apparel We are seeking an Associate Production Planner to support a fast-paced production team within a leading retail organization. This role is responsible for end-to-end order management across multiple brand channels, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and seamless coordination from order creation through delivery. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Management Initiate and maintain purchase orders (POs) Manage PO amendments and resolve order discrepancies Monitor and report on order status and delivery timelines Track key production milestones (e.g., dye and cut dates) Partner with offshore teams to ensure accurate data entry in systems (Mainframe, SAP) Support planning adjustments and follow-ups on order changes Troubleshoot order-related issues and escalate when necessary Complete value-added services tied to order execution Liabilities & Cancellations Review and interpret liabilities and ensure timely confirmations Manage liability reporting and communicate updates to stakeholders Support raw material and contract reconciliation Handle dispute resolution and risk assessment of expiring liabilities Execute system updates related to order cancellations Document cancellations for reporting and monthly meetings Capacity & Production Planning Ensure order accuracy and alignment with production timelines Track commitments, including those without POs Support production tracking tools and documentation updates Maintain schedules and support reporting for production milestones Participate in weekly production meetings and system updates (e.g., WIPS) Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with: Logistics & DC Operations Planning & Merchandising Product Development (PD) Vendors & Regional Teams Commercialization & Product Performance Textile & Raw Materials Teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 1-3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or related field Internship experience in a corporate environment preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment Preferred Experience Apparel, retail, or production environment experience Exposure to order management systems (SAP, Mainframe, etc.) Experience analyzing and reporting on production or delivery data
