Sales & Operations Specialist (Design / Estimating / Logistics)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an adaptable, detail-oriented Sales & Operations Specialist to bridge the gap between our clients, our projects, and our office operations. In this role, you will wear a few different hats—handling everything from initial blueprint takeoffs and client consultations to ordering materials and managing project logistics. The ideal candidate has a blend of technical accuracy (estimating and ordering) and interpersonal charm (sales and client management). Experience in construction or a natural eye for design is a massive plus, but the right attitude, willingness to learn, and team-first mentality are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating & Quoting:

Read and accurately pull dimensions from PDF plan sets, as well as conduct in-field measurements at residential and commercial job sites. Generate comprehensive, accurate quotes for clients.

Sales & Client Relations:

Meet face-to-face with homeowners, builders, and designers to guide them through the material selection and sales process. Actively follow up on leads and proposals to close deals.

Project Logistics & Admin:

Generate invoices, place precise material orders with vendors, and coordinate logistics to ensure timely project delivery.

Team Collaboration:

Maintain a "no task is too small" attitude, supporting office operations and collaborating closely with the rest of the team to ensure absolute client satisfaction.

You can smoothly jump between a spreadsheet, a client meeting, and a logistics tracking sheet without dropping the ball.

Tech & Plan Savvy:

Proficiency in reading digital blueprints (PDF plan sets) and a comfort level learning estimating software. Systems Exposure (Plus, but not required): Familiarity with tools like Pipedrive (CRM), NetSuite , or QuickBooks is a definite advantage.

Strong Communication:

Comfortable presenting to high-end clients, negotiating with builders, and collaborating with interior designers.

Experience:

A background in construction, interior design, building materials, or project management is highly valued. A keen eye for design or spatial awareness is a major bonus.

Reliable Transportation:

Required for local site visits and field measurements. Company vehicles are available.
