Position Overview:
BridgePhase is seeking an SAP Supply Chain Management Specialist to support a secure Federal Government client. This is a hands-on, hybrid functional and technical role focused on configuring, enhancing, and integrating SAP supply chain and logistics capabilities in a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP Supply Chain modules, combined with the ability to work across technical teams, troubleshoot system issues, and support modernization and integration efforts. This role requires someone who can operate comfortably across business process design, system configuration, and technical implementation. This position requires regular onsite work in Herndon, VA, with potential for occasional remote work. Candidates must be local to the National Capital Region and hold an active Secret clearance. Position offered as 1099 or full-time employee. In this role, you will:
Configure and support SAP SCM modules, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Inventory Management
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP system configurations
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of supply chain processes, logistics workflows, interfaces, and data issues
Support end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, order management, inventory control, and fulfillment
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations between SAP and external systems, including warehouse systems, logistics platforms, and third-party vendors
Support enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts across the SAP landscape
Participate in system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
Assist with data migration, data validation, and system cutover activities
Develop and maintain documentation including configuration guides, process flows, and user procedures
Support reporting and analytics related to supply chain performance, inventory, and logistics operations
Work closely with stakeholders to improve supply chain processes, increase visibility, and drive operational efficiency
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP SCM experience
Demonstrated experience in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
Experience working in hybrid functional/technical roles, including debugging, data analysis, and working with developers
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and embedded supply chain capabilities
Experience with interfaces, data migration tools, and integration frameworks
Working knowledge of ABAP debugging or technical troubleshooting (not a developer role, but technically conversant)
Experience supporting supply chain reporting, logistics operations, and performance optimization
Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery environments
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders As with any dynamic technical environment, responsibilities will evolve based on mission needs.
