Create and maintain bills of material and parts or commodities numbers within enterprise-wide supply chain management systems.
Ensure all material standards are strictly met, resolve any discrepancies, and minimize or manage non-conformances.
Develop specifications for new contract orders, gather quotations, examine bids, and award supplier contracts.
Monitor subcontract costs, schedules, and scope while continually evaluating vendor reliability and proactively developing new, competitive supply sources.
