Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team and drive operational excellence across our supply chain functions. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating raw feed purchasing, production planning, logistics, and inventory management to ensure seamless flow of materials and products. Your proactive approach will help improve efficiency and support our manufacturing and customer order requirement objectives. Responsibilities Collaborate with Production Manager to accurately review, enter, update, and receive production orders with manufacturing plants and suppliers . Review, enter, route, update, and receive purchase orders with suppliers to meet production and safety stock requirements at plants and warehouse. Update pricing on purchased and manufactured items to ensure accurate costing is maintained in MPI's ERP system. Create, update, and receive warehouse transfers of raw feeds to meet production requirements at manufacturing plants. Coordinate with logistics carriers to ensure timely and accurate transfers are made from raw feed suppliers to MPI's warehouse or production plants.. Perform book inventory reconciliations with plants to ensure inventory accuracy. Produce weekly and monthly excel reporting for production plant reviews, on time delivery, and management review. Qualifications Proven understanding of ERP and MRP systems within a supply chain or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of supply chain management concepts including procurement, logistics, demand planning, and production scheduling. Familiarity with MRP systems and production planning methodologies to optimize manufacturing workflows. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including plant management, purchasing, and logistics teams. Understanding Microsoft office products, strong computer skills. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
