Job Description
Supply Chain Manager (1620921) —
Summary:
This role leads sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and shipping/receiving strategy for a low-volume, high-mix precision manufacturing environment. The focus is supplier development, ERP/MRP-driven material planning, AS9100-aligned process improvement, and cross-functional support for technical production teams. Requirements 7+ years of supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or materials leadership experience in a technical manufacturing environment, ideally tied to machine shop, CNC, gear, turbomachinery, or similar operations. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, with supervisory or managerial experience. Strong ERP/MRP knowledge, supplier negotiation capability, andAPICS/CPIM
certification or comparable materials-planning experience. Responsibilities Develop sourcing strategies, qualify and onboard suppliers, and monitor supplier quality, delivery, capacity, and risk. Lead inventory optimization, material flow improvements, shipping/receiving operations, and supply chain KPI reporting. Manage procurement and materials team workflows while supporting ECN/product development needs and supplier/logistics negotiations. Important Notes This role is based near Woodstock, VT with a hybrid arrangement for qualifying candidates currently based in New England or relocation to the area. Standard first-shift, 40-hour workweek; close collaboration with manufacturing, inventory, shipping/receiving, and supplier partners is expected.Job Disclaimer:
