As a Supply Chain Specialist II/III, you will apply fundamental judgment and evaluation to support our procurement processes while you build and maintain internal customer and vendor relationships to meet the business need! Responsibilities/Expectations:
Performs multifaceted tasks and projects of moderate complexity requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria Supports procurement processes Handles requisition traffic and procures quality materials/equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures Coordinates communication between internal customers and vendors Facilitates the resolution of disputes and claims Supervises required inspections, expediting and logistics support Analyzes and reports on market conditions and identifies competitive opportunities to initiate competitive bid process; coordinates and facilitates pre-competitive meetings and provides input to bid awards Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Supply Chain Specialist II Required:
High School diploma/GED and a minimum two (2) years' experience
Preferred:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field
Supply Chain Specialist III Required:
High School diploma/GED and a minimum four (4) years' experience
Preferred:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Schedule:
