We are seeking to hire an experienced Planner who will play a key role in meeting our ambitious aspirations for the future and support our machining/manufacturing operations. What You'll Be Doing Place purchase orders with suppliers and follow-up when necessary to avoid stockouts. Ensure accuracy of purchase order due dates. Promise customer orders based on the availability of material and capacity. Release production orders to manufacturing based on material availability. Work with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of products. Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to lower inventory, reduce stockouts and to improve on-time delivery. Maintain master data information in SAP. Create and/or publish planning reports What We're Looking For The ideal candidate possesses these skills. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain & Operations Management or realted field is preferred, or 5 years of professional Planning/Scheduling expereince in lieu of a degree. APICS certification is preferred. Expereince with SAP preferred, or other ERP systems. Preferred previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Passionate about learning and to continuously improve skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, and Excel. Organized, detail oriented, and self driven, while working well in a team environment. Professional and outstanding communication skills in all aspects and situations especially, when dealing with customers, suppliers and co-workers.
