Symrise - always inspiring more… Your role Analyze demand data and determine supply strategies to meet customer needs while optimizing cost and inventory levels. Use forecast, market intelligence and economic trends to aid in decisions; issue purchase orders and monitor transactional details to ensure on-time delivery from suppliers. Perform on-time shipment review, stock level maintenance, and supply chain coordination with other Symrise affiliates. Coordinate with the procurement teams, commercial teams, and others to ensure suppliers conform to delivery, cost, and quality-based performance measures.
B. ORDER FULFILLMENT
Review and confirm customer orders against available inventory to meet requested delivery dates. Coordinate with customer service, commercial teams, and operations teams as necessary to ensure the appropriate communication and resolution of issues. Support commercial teams on the identification, disposition, and reporting of blocked stock and obsolete products and overall product life cycle evaluations.C. PROCESSES & SYSTEMS
Maintain appropriate master data information within SAP and other related systems and initiatives. Prepare and present regular supply updates to the respective business unit. Identify and communicate supply risks to the business via regular multifunctional meetings. Work with QA/QC as well as the divisional commercial and technical teams to ensure compliance to product specifications and requirements within the procurement processD. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT
Create, maintain, and optimize departmental programs, tools, and reports to ensure visibility into supply planning performance and alignment with operational priorities. Strengthen departmental effectiveness by supervising Planners through structured guidance and continuous skill development. About you Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but ability to learn, develop and contribute will be the key parameter. High school degree or equivalent required. Prefer a minimum of two years of material planning experience or other applicable, relatable experienceSkills & Abilities:
Strong written & verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills; with experience within a SAP environment helpful. Must be a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interface with a variety of levels within the organization (domestic and international) and vendor community. Ability to determine prioritize, plan, organize and follow through on projects. Must be resourceful in attaining information and providing options to resolve open issues. Must be able to make sound judgements based on varying degrees of information.PC Computer skills:
