Your Mission:
The Production Controller I supports the preparation and coordination of welding work packages and materials using ERP systems. This entry-level role assists in interpreting blueprints and specifications, ensuring proper weld and fit sequences, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to support production activities and ensure readiness for fabrication. Explore the Depth of the
Role:
- Assist in breaking down welding work packages for shop floor use
- Support the preparation and organization of work packages in alignment with weld and fit sequences
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications with guidance
- Assist in ensuring materials are available and staged prior to production
- Maintain and organize project documentation and records
- Communicate routine issues to supervisors or senior team members
- Support coordination between engineering and shop floor personnel
- Maintain weld records and assist with documentation accuracy
Requirements:
Mission Readiness:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications
- 0-3 years experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related field preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
