Job Description

Material Handler Full Time Trenton, SC, US Shift Hours:
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Thursday), 7:00am-3:00pm (Friday)
Overtime:
Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the flow of materials throughout the facility, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. This position involves manual labor in a fast-paced environment. The individual must be flexible and willing to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed.
Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using manual and mechanical methods (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks). Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. Stage materials for production based on work orders and schedule requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy by labeling, recording, and tracking materials in the system. Dispose of scrap material and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Assist in other areas, such as assembly, production, or shipping/receiving, as required. Follow all company safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Basic math and reading skills. Willingness to learn new tasks and operate equipment after training. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training can be provided.
