Job Description

Role Description:
LST Group is seeking an energetic, highly driven Logistics Intern, for our Chattanooga, TN branch to support our customer service team for summer/fall 2026. You will be responsible for load tracking compliance, document collection, and order entry. You will support our clients' freight transportation goals while delivering outstanding service & communication to LST customers. This internship is ideal for college juniors/seniors working toward a supply chain/logistics/business management degree.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute exceptional service with customers with respect to order needs, pickup and delivery times, any issues in transit or with appointment times, etc. Monitor shipment status, proactively communicate updates or delays, and resolve any service-related issues. Ensure load tracking compliance on all shipments Work closely with carrier partners to ensure capacity, compliance, and performance standards. Analyze client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Perform accurate and timely data entry for all orders, load details, client information, and shipment updates into TMS and internal databases as needed.
Requirements:
Must be enrolled in or recently completed post-graduate education. Strong interest in transportation and logistics Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to work 30-39.5 hours per week Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Communication and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships. Benefits of Working at
