Job Description

Share 135954BR Order Mgt Spcst Greeneville, TN Job Description Order Mgt Spcst Coordinates order release, material shipment, and shipment completion in the computer system. Interacts with carrier drivers to complete transportation paperwork. Maintains appropriate records of all transactions, including bills of lading and packing lists. Communicates with internal departments, customer logistics, and transportation carriers to ensure timely shipment of materials. Assists in inventory control and adjustments and provides administrative assistance to department head and supervisors. Orders supplies and material for office and plant operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Use computer system to execute ship confirmation, back orders, returns, and drop shipment. Generate pick ticket, packing list, shipping label, bill of lading, commercial invoice, and other required shipping documents. Monitor and address processing issues. Interact with AG Transportation to ensure least-cost freight carrier is utilized.

Work with shipping supervisors to ensure customer requirements are met. Problem-solve and address questions regarding shipments, inventory, etc. for the department, other departments, or external requests. Track shipments, process proof of delivery requests, inbound shipment claims, and assist in chargeback resolution. Interact with outside warehouse vendors to resolve issues. Correspond with internal and external parties in a professional manner. Prepare and interpret reports including researching data, creating or populating spreadsheets. Complete special projects or other duties assigned. Assist with resolution of inventory problems and physical inventory counts. Communicate with customer service concerning product shortage. Execute annual review of customer requirement documents to update the computer system. Cross-train and provide backup within the Traffic Office. Train full time and temporary staff. Provide back up for other departments.
Perform various administrative duties:
1. AG Order Packet Assembly 2. Provide signed BOL copies upon request. 3. Assist with AG Order Filling Printing 4. Print shipping labels, print dock load sheet, and assemble shipping documents and labels for shipping dock.
Experience Required:
Required Length & Type of Experience:
 2 years of previous work experience in a logistics environment is preferred.  Must be able to interact with vendors, dispatchers, drivers and the general public.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 2 years of previous experience utilizing computers.  Good communication skills are required.  Must be detailed and accurate in the work.
