Position Summary DRT Transportation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LTL Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Kingsport, TN. In this role, you will coordinate Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and carrier partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service. What You'll Do Coordinate and manage LTL shipments from pickup through final delivery. Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates, delays, and exceptions. Source and secure carrier capacity based on service requirements, transit times, and pricing. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carrier partners. Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and delivery receipts. Support freight quoting, pricing activities, and carrier negotiations. Resolve service issues, freight claims, damages, and billing discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely shipment execution. Qualifications Required 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, brokerage, customer service, or a related field. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Preferred Experience coordinating LTL freight shipments. Knowledge of freight classification (NMFC), pricing, and carrier operations. Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Experience working in a freight brokerage or 3PL environment. Why Join DRT Transportation?
