This role also supports warehouse operations, internal inventory transfers, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong logistics experience, thrives on solving problems, and is highly comfortable working with systems and data. Key Responsibilities Transportation & Shipping Management Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, documentation, and execution Manage relationships with vendors (parcel/freight carriers, brokers, 3PLs, etc.) Obtain competitive shipping quotes Track shipments and proactively address delays or disruptions; communicate with customers when needed Submit and follow up on freight claims Research and recommend optimal transportation methods for efficiency and cost savings International import and export support Warehouse & Inventory Support Support warehouse operations Oversee receiving processes and internal inventory transfers Assist with end-of-month inventory Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) use and troubleshooting Reporting & Process Improvement Generate logistics and inventory reports as needed Identify and implement process improvements across logistics and warehouse functions Perform other duties as assigned by the
Director of Supply Chain Qualifications One of:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or operations—preferably in a regulated or distribution-focused industry Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments High computer literacy; proficiency in Excel, shipping platforms, and WMS/ERP systems Familiarity with international shipments, documentation, and freight claim processes is a plus What We Offer A collaborative, fast-paced team environment A key role with room for growth and impact Competitive compensation based on experience Exposure to multiple facets of supply chain and operations Flexible, small business environment
