Production Material Planner Location:
Knoxville, TN Pay Rate:
$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM You've Got Hustle? This Shift's Yours! If you're the kind of person who counts reps by crates lifted and feels weird not sweating by noon, this Production Material Planner gig is calling your name. Hard work? Yep. Good people? Yep. And forklifts that purr like kittens? Well, not exactly, but they run solid.
Requirements:
3+ years of planning, purchasing, supply chain, or production scheduling experience required Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered CPSM or APICS certification is a plus Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
SAP S/4HANA
experience preferred; Power BI experience is a plus Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Customer-focused mindset with attention to production efficiency and inventory management Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
Job Duties:
Manage the flow of materials to support production schedules and customer demand Create monthly production plans and monitor daily production schedules Purchase materials and place purchase orders to ensure product availability Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory within budgetary guidelines Ensure product supply meets customer demand targets and key performance indicators Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries Analyze production, inventory, and supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, quality, sourcing, marketing, and demand planning teams Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning, purchasing, and inventory activities Track and report supply chain performance metrics and inventory trends Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
