This is where you come in: Qualifications 3-8 years in Domestic trucking / Freight Forwarding Full A to Z shipment process including: quoting, booking, tracking, billing FTL, LTL, Box Trucks, Dry Vans, Flatbeds, Sprinter Vans and Drayage Working experience with managing key accounts Experienced with dispatching, LTL carrier portals, expedited shipments, multi-stop/consolidated loads Skilled in GPS tracking tools Knowledge of

DOT/FMCSA

regulations, ELD & Hours of Service rules Running rate inquiries as requested by Sales/ISR, comparing options, and providing the most competitive rates available. Must have a list of known Carriers that they have good working relationships with on hand

Cost Control:

Monitor and manage logistics budgets, identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

Operational Optimization:

Plan delivery routes, schedules, and workflows to improve efficiency. Common Performance Metrics (KPIs) On-time delivery percentage Freight cost per unit Inventory accuracy and turnover Order cycle time

Commodities Include:

Dangerous goods, Perishables, Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Electronics, Auto parts, Machinery, Furniture and FAK Familiar with carrier vetting process (carrier 411, RMIS )
