Job Description
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? NCTTRAC is seeking a talented individual for the full-time EMTF & Resources Coordinator position to serve in the key role in advancing NCTTRAC's emergency management mission by serving as a central point of coordination for EMTF activities, regional resource management, and logistics operation. This position is primarily responsible for supporting the readiness, organization, and deployment of emergency response assets, equipment, and supplies used throughout the region. Core responsibilities include coordinating EMTF operations, managing resource requests and movement, overseeing warehouse and inventory systems, maintaining asset accountability, and ensuring equipment and supplies are tracked, maintained, and deployment-ready at all times. The position helps sustain a high level of operational preparedness by supporting response planning, logistics coordination, and the timely mobilization of personnel and resources during incidents, planned events, and emergency activations. The EMTF & Resources Coordinator will work in close collaboration with EMTF leadership, healthcare coalition (HCC) partners, regional response agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen coordination, improve resource visibility, and support effective emergency response operations. In addition to its primary focus on response and logistics, the EMTF & Resources Coordinator also provides secondary support to preparedness efforts, including training and exercise support, planning activities, maintenance of operational documents and procedures, and assistance with grant documentation and program compliance requirements. The position requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to shift between day-to-day program support and fast-paced incident-related responsibilities based on operational tempo, regional needs, and organizational priorities. - contingent upon management approval) Primary Responsibilities Coordinate EMTF-related logistics, resource support, and operational readiness activities in support of regional emergency response operations.
NCTTRAC TSA-E
Medical Coordination Center (EMCC), or other assigned coordination roles during incidents, disasters, and emergency activations. Respond to alerts and staff coordination activities on a 24/7 basis, up to and including:- Duty officer rotation and emergency communications monitoring
- Physical recall to NCTTRAC or other designated locations in TSA-E, TSA-C, or TSA-D
- Virtual connection to NCTTRAC crisis applications during business continuity operations and crisis coordination activities Coordinate logistics and transportation functions in support of NCTTRAC emergency management and Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) operations.
Qualifications Education, Training, and Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in emergency healthcare, emergency management, response logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, resource management, or related operational support functions is required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with primary coursework in emergency management, public health, healthcare administration, logistics, supply chain, public administration, or related fields preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Must have completedICS 100, 200, 700, 800
classes or be able to complete within six months of hire. Must possess a current, valid Texas driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Texas Class A License preferred. Must possess a current, valid Forklift Operator Certificate from an OSHA-approved training program or be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire. Must have knowledge of inventory systems, logistics processes, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook), and emergency management principles. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and perform effectively in fast-paced or high-stress environments. Must have the ability to travel within the region and occasionally out of state. EMS Administration or Health Services Administration credential, clinical certification, and/or license (LP, EMT-P, EMT-B, RN, LVN, or other allied health) strongly preferred. Knowledge of and experience with disaster response management and the Texas Disaster Medical System (TDMS) preferred. Knowledge of and experience with regional crisis applications systems (i.e. EMResource, Everbridge, Pulsara) preferred.Job Type:
