Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to support shipping, receiving, and day-to-day logistics coordination for a manufacturing operation in Arlington, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can keep materials moving accurately, maintain organized records, and help ensure timely product flow across the facility. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating across teams, and handling shipping functions with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and security.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to help maintain smooth movement of materials and finished goods.
  • Receive deliveries, verify shipment contents against documentation, and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare packages, labels, and related paperwork to support accurate and timely outbound shipping.
  • Maintain organized logistics records, including shipment details, inventory updates, and receiving documents.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve delivery issues and support scheduling needs.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials while following site safety and handling procedures.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving activity to help protect materials and support secure workplace practices.
  • Support general logistics operations by prioritizing tasks and keeping workflows on track in a manufacturing setting.
