Chart is looking for bright, talented candidates that have a desire for a career in an exciting and evolving industry. What Will You Do? Enter and update datra in the MRP/ERP system based on purchasing procedures Communicate delivery expectations, quality needs, and support goals to suppliers Work with logistics to arrange shipments and close orders on time Maintain reports on cost savings, delivery performance, and inventory as needed Follow Chart's procedures and safety guidelines while acting ethically Inform Project Managers about material issues that could affect deadlines Attend team meetings to discuss project status and resolve issues Adhere to Quality Management System processes for supplier approvals and track material issues Lead supplier development by working with Category Support, Quality, and Engineering Help negotiate pricing, payment, delivery, and quality terms with suppliers Serve as the main contact for hart's suppliers adn promote the Chart brand Create purchase orders for assigned projects adn confirm delivery dates Coordinate with vendors to prevent supply issues Analyze reports on coverage and supplier performance Collaborate with engineering and project management on changes and new projects Review daily production reports Manage strategies for replenishing assigned materials Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
