Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation and distribution of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management, inventories, transportation and data analysis skills to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency. Duties Coordinate and oversee daily logistics and cargo operations. Schedule and coordinate truck loading and unloading activities while managing cargo releases with customers, brokers, and warehouse personnel. Maintain accurate inventory records, cargo tracking systems, shipment documentation, and operational reports. Coordinate inbound and outbound cargo movements involving railcars, trucks, warehouses, and vessels to ensure safe and efficient operations. Support Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) compliance and documentation processes, including release verification, shipment tracking, and inventory controls. Serve as a primary point of communication between customers, carriers, drivers, warehouse supervisors, and operations teams to ensure seamless operational coordination. Assist with load planning, cargo staging, dispatch coordination, and operational scheduling to maximize productivity and throughput. Support inventory reconciliations, cargo audits, operational reporting, and customer documentation requirements. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, operational procedures, and customer-specific requirements. Analyze logistics and operational data to identify trends and provide recommendations for continuous operational improvement. Provide customer service support and assist in resolving operational issues related to cargo movements, scheduling, inventory, and shipment coordination. Requirements Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices. Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
