You will leverage your expertise in heavy vehicle operation and regulatory compliance to maintain high standards of safety and service excellence, directly impacting our operational reliability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Execute safe transport of goods by operating commercial truck and trailer equipment in strict adherence to DOT and FMCSA guidelines. Perform rigorous pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to guarantee vehicle integrity and road safety. Manage load securement protocols to prevent transit damage and ensure cargo stability. Maintain precise digital and physical driver logs to ensure full regulatory transparency. Provide proactive communication regarding route status, delivery timelines, and any potential transit challenges. Oversee the safe loading and unloading of materials, ensuring all handling procedures meet quality standards. Uphold professional vehicle maintenance and cleanliness to reflect our commitment to quality service. Qualifications Required Skills Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Proven ability to pass all DOT physical, background, and drug/alcohol screening requirements. Comprehensive understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and OSHA regulations. Demonstrated history of maintaining a clean driving record. Capability to manage HazMat and tanker documentation where applicable. Preferred Skills 2+ years of professional experience in commercial long-haul or regional driving. Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and fleet management software. Prior experience transporting specialized or hazardous materials. Strong background in fleet compliance documentation and administrative reporting.
