Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support the Planning team with daily ERP system transactions and updates Create, update, and maintain production-related records within the ERP system Assist with monitoring production schedules, job status, and material availability Review and maintain data accuracy for work orders, item records, inventory transactions, and scheduling information Help track and communicate schedule changes, shortages, and production priorities Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service teams to gather and relay information Prepare and distribute planning reports, spreadsheets, and operational tracking documents Monitor open orders and assist with follow-up activities related to planning execution Assist with data cleanup, system audits, and process improvement initiatives Support planning meetings through documentation, reporting, and action item tracking Maintain organized electronic records and documentation Perform other administrative and operational support duties as assigned Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities Ability to work collaboratively across departments Dependable and self-motivated with strong follow-through Comfortable learning and navigating ERP systems and operational software Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Qualifications, Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred 1-3 years of administrative, customer service, operations support, or manufacturing support experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required ERP system experience is preferred, but not required Strong computer and data entry skills required Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment Preferred Traits for Success in This Role Naturally organized and process-oriented Comfortable handling repetitive system tasks with high accuracy Thrives in structured environments Positive attitude and willingness to support the broader team Eager to learn operational and supply chain processes Strong sense of ownership and accountability This role serves as a foundational support position within the Planning organization and offers growth opportunities into Production Scheduling, Material Planning, Purchasing, or Supply Chain roles over time.
