About the Role As a Transportation Compliance Specialist, you will serve as a vital partner to our carrier clients by overseeing safety programs and ensuring regulatory adherence. You will drive operational excellence by managing complex documentation, facilitating audit readiness, and streamlining fuel tax reporting processes to protect our clients' interests. Responsibilities Oversee the lifecycle of Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) to guarantee full regulatory alignment. Administer Drug & Alcohol testing protocols to maintain strict compliance standards. Prepare clients for FMCSA audits by conducting internal reviews and developing effective Corrective Action Plans. Manage the end-to-end IFTA fuel tax reporting process, from data reconciliation to final filing. Analyze mileage and fuel records to identify discrepancies and ensure precise reporting. Provide expert guidance to safety managers, translating complex regulations into actionable operational steps. Maintain high-integrity records to ensure all client accounts remain audit-ready at all times. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in transportation operations, safety compliance, or regulatory administration. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying and resolving data discrepancies. Excellent communication skills for professional client advisory and training. Preferred Skills In-depth knowledge of FMCSA safety regulations and IFTA reporting requirements. Experience managing multi-client compliance programs. Background in auditing or quality control within the logistics or transportation sector.
