Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated Fleet Coordinator to join our team in Deer Park, Texas. As part of this Contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of fleet operations. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and shipping processes, as well as the ability to work effectively in an on-site environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily fleet operations to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Coordinate logistics activities, including scheduling, tracking, and dispatching shipments.
- Manage shipping functions, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including maintenance schedules and operational data.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize transportation processes.
- Address and resolve issues related to fleet operations, ensuring minimal disruptions.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements across all fleet activities.
- Support cost-effective strategies for fleet management and logistics operations. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet coordination or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, distribution, and shipping processes.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tracking and analyzing fleet performance metrics.
- Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Commitment to working 100% on-site in Deer Park, Texas.
