We estimate the award will be made in late August to September 2026 with a PoP starting 1 Nov 2026. This position provides government property, furnishings, inventory, warehousing, and asset management support for Dyess AFB. The selected candidate will manage furnishings accountability, inventory control, dormitory furnishings support, warehouse operations, budgeting, replacement planning, and property management activities in accordance with Air Force policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting government property programs, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, asset accountability, housing support, or facilities management functions. Required Clearance Level Must be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential Security Clearance. Required Qualifications 3-4 years of experience supporting inventory management, property management, warehouse operations, logistics, supply management, asset accountability, or related functions. Experience conducting inventories, maintaining records, and managing accountable property. Experience utilizing computerized inventory, logistics, property management, or asset tracking systems. Experience supporting customer service and coordination activities involving multiple stakeholders. Expertise in oral and written English communications skills. Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office environment is essential (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). Desired Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting government property, military housing, dormitory furnishings, facilities management, logistics, or asset management programs. Experience performing physical inventories and reconciliation of accountable property. Experience supporting warehouse operations, receiving, issuing, storage, and distribution activities. Experience preparing budgets, replacement plans, asset lifecycle plans, or inventory forecasts. Experience supporting Air Force, DoD, federal government, or military installation operations. Key Responsibilities Manage government furnishings inventories and associated accountability records. Conduct physical inventories and reconcile inventory records. Coordinate receipt, storage, issuance, delivery, pickup, transfer, and disposal of furnishings and accountable property. Maintain warehouse inventory controls and property accountability procedures. Support dormitory furnishings management and replacement activities. Track warranties, maintenance requirements, repair activities, and replacement schedules. Identify and report lost, damaged, missing, or abused property. Maintain property management records and supporting documentation. Assist with development of annual and multi-year furnishings plans and budgets. Support asset lifecycle management and replacement planning activities. Coordinate with government personnel, vendors, and customers regarding furnishings requirements. Support inspections, audits, and compliance reviews. Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and inventory documentation. Support customer service activities related to furnishings and property management requirements. Compensation & Benefits The Salary for this contingent hire position is $45,000 to $55,000 based on experience and includes medical/dental/vision benefits, 10 days PTO and 7 days sick time; other benefits available. This is a contingent position for a proposal we are bidding on (published June 10, 2026). Additional information provided during interview.
