About the Role We are hiring a hands-on Production Planner to support a fast-paced manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are available, production stays on schedule, and supplier delays are resolved quickly. You will work directly in SAP and partner with production, supply chain, and suppliers to keep operations running smoothly. What You'll Be Doing Manage daily MRP exception messages in SAP (expedite, delay, cancel) Build and maintain daily production schedules Convert planned orders into production orders and release to the floor Ensure materials are available to support production Track and resolve material shortages and delays Expedite suppliers and manage open purchase orders Update delivery dates and order details in SAP Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning parameters (safety stock, lead times, etc.) Coordinate with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to resolve issues Drive production schedule attainment Must-Have Qualifications SAP experience (hands-on daily use) Experience with MRP / material planning Background in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing plant Experience managing material shortages and supplier follow-ups Understanding of inventory basics (safety stock, lead times, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
