Supply Chain Coordinator

Duties Manage procurement activities including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing purchasing processes to secure quality materials at competitive prices. Coordinate warehouse distribution, inventory control, and stock management using advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400. Plan and optimize transportation logistics, including freight management, shipping & receiving, dispatching, and working with third-party logistics providers (3PL). Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies to implement process improvements that enhance overall performance. Utilize data analysis skills with tools like Tableau and SQL to collect, analyze, and report on supply chain metrics such as demand planning, inventory levels, and freight costs. Oversee materials handling operations including forklift operation (certified where applicable), warehouse safety protocols, and materials management for seamless order fulfillment. Collaborate with vendor management teams to evaluate supplier performance, manage contracts, and foster strong supplier relationships for reliable sourcing. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong understanding of logistics, procurement, warehouse distribution, and inventory control. Proficiency in supply chain analytics tools such as Tableau, SQL, ERP systems (e.g., SAP or AS400), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Knowledge of freight forwarding including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations and international shipping regulations. Strong analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues within complex supply networks. Mechanical knowledge or experience operating forklifts is preferred; certification is a plus. Excellent negotiation skills paired with vendor management expertise to optimize costs and service levels.
