Job Overview DJ eShop
  • FM Electronics is seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Coordinator / Client Experience Associate to support our Pro Audio Repair department.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and has an interest in professional audio equipment such as speakers, amplifiers, mixers, and DJ gear. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing repair intake, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a smooth and professional service experience. Important This is a fast-paced, hands-on role. This is NOT an entry-level retail or restaurant position We are looking for candidates with office, coordination, or logistics experience who can handle responsibility and work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and manage front desk operations Intake and document repair equipment (speakers, mixers, DJ gear, lighting) Identify and document basic repair issues during drop-off Coordinate workflow with technicians and track repair status Communicate with customers regarding updates, estimates, and timelines Notify customers when repairs are completed and ready for pickup Process invoices and payments (POS / QuickBooks preferred) Maintain clear communication between customers and technicians Explain technical issues in customer-friendly terms Answer multi-line phone system and respond to emails Assist with dispatching repair jobs and coordinating technician workflow Handle shipping and receiving (UPS, FedEx) Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming equipment Maintain organized records and documentation Keep front desk and lobby clean, organized, and professional Requirements Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Required 2+ years of customer service, office, or coordination experience Experience with front desk, scheduling, or dispatching Comfortable working around electronics or technical equipment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Experience with POS systems, invoicing, or QuickBooks (preferred) Experience with UPS / FedEx shipping systems (preferred) Reliable, punctual, and professional Not a Fit If Only restaurant or retail experience No office/admin or coordination experience Not comfortable handling multiple tasks Looking for temporary or short-term work Compensation & Benefits $14•$22 per hour (based on experience) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (eligible employees) 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays Employee discounts on DJ gear and pro audio equipment On-the-job training (products and repair workflow) Schedule Tuesday•
