Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides administrative support to the Supply Chain department. Assists the Purchasing team by providing customer service to internal and external customers in the areas of vendor registration, purchase orders, contracts, pricing, products, logistics, quality, documentation, services and a wide variety of Supply Chain functions. Performs clerical work essential to the operations of the department and order lifecycle support. Some initiative, independent judgment and decision making is required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or its equivalent required. One year of experience in the Supply Chain field or a demonstrated knowledge base of Supply Chain functions and operations is required. One year of related college level course work (24 credit hours) may be substituted for 6 months experience. College or commercial school courses in business functions are preferred. Must have a demonstrated ability to make independent judgments and take professional accountability for areas of responsibility.
