Logistics Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team and drive our supply chain operations forward. In this role, you will be at the heart of coordinating transportation, managing warehouse activities, and optimizing inventory flow to ensure seamless order fulfillment and distribution. Responsibilities Coordinate transportation planning and execution using transportation management systems (TMS) to ensure timely delivery of goods. Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling. Utilize data analysis skills and tools to monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and freight carriers to optimize freight costs and service levels. Maintain accurate records within warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms for inventory management, demand planning, and production scheduling. Support shipping & receiving operations, including dispatching, order fulfillment, and materials management to meet customer expectations. Participate in supply chain analytics projects to enhance sourcing strategies, inventory control, and profit & loss analysis. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to warehouse operations such as forklift operation and mechanical knowledge requirements. Skills Strong data collection and analysis skills. Extensive experience with supply chain management principles including procurement, sourcing, demand planning, and category management. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and inventory control techniques. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes such as shipping & receiving, stocking, materials handling, and warehouse management best practices. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis for process improvements. Experience working with 3PL providers, transportation planning, dispatching, and logistics coordination. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across procurement, production planning, logistics teams, and suppliers. Pay:

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
