Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator with advanced Microsoft Excel skills to support daily operations for a luxury furniture manufacturing company based in Christiansburg, Virginia. This role is central to maintaining efficient administrative processes, managing production and inventory data, coordinating internal communications, and supporting leadership with reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Strong Excel proficiency is essential, including the ability to create formulas, analyze data, maintain spreadsheets, and generate operational reports. Microsoft Excel & Data Management Create, maintain, and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets and reports Track production schedules, inventory levels, purchasing data, and order status Utilize formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and data validation Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for management Ensure data accuracy across production, purchasing, and accounting records Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and operational tracking Manufacturing & Operations Support Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams Monitor inventory and material usage reporting Assist with purchase orders, vendor records, and production documentation Support workflow improvements and process organization Maintain confidentiality of company and client information Qualifications 3+ years of office administration experience preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Experience in manufacturing, furniture, interior design, or production environments preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills Experience with QuickBooks, ERP systems, or inventory software is a plus Preferred Excel Skills Candidates should be comfortable with: Pivot tables and pivot charts Advanced formulas (IF, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP) Spreadsheet creation and formatting Data analysis and reporting Inventory and production tracking CSV imports/exports and data cleanup

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
