Job Description

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Recall Coordinator reviews, prioritizes, and manages all recalls of medical supplies, devices, and equipment for the organization. This position is responsible for the timely management of recall processes that have the potential to cause injury and/or death to patients and/or team members, and works to reduce associated risks with recalls for both patients and the organization. Reports to departmental leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews official recall notices from the FDA, vendors, and/or manufacturers for all medical supplies, medical devices and equipment, including vehicle recalls, and triages them based on severity Identifies, isolates, and removes affected products in coordination with relevant leadership and staff. Acts as the central point of contact between departments, Supply Chain, vendors, manufacturers, and the FDA for recall information. Initiates product recall notifications and warning notices to all affected departments. Completes all necessary recall paperwork and submits to the appropriate parties. Maintains complete records for all recalls for compliance with organizational accreditation. Provides a monthly status report of all recalls to the Value Analysis Manager. Utilizes and manages recall software for recalls provided by organization. Ensures product credits or replacements are processed timely and credited appropriately. Performs all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required Education and Experience Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, Business Management, or related field required. 3 years of Supply Chain experience required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong proficiency and technical aptitude in MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Work. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple, time sensitive and urgent projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication and skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Warehouse environment with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy conditions and hospital environment with potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.
